Ohhhhh Canada! My 30th Country!

View of my hotel, sears tower, and other skyscrapers from Lake Ontario harbour. LDS Nomad Destiny Yarbro Oh Canada My 30th Country.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I've never hopped the border until now, but I'm way excited to finally come to Canada and to reach the milestone of 30 countries!!

I'm here in Toronto as an ASL host for Rovia. My taxi driver, Gagan, was a Sikh man from Punjab, India. He told me about the crazy winters here and now I'm a little nervous for my trip back here in November. I can't believe people can survive in that kind of weather! Thankfully, today was absolutely beautiful - mid 70s - so this Arizona girl is happy. :)

This post is nice and short as I'm a bit exhausted (been up since 2 am) so I'll leave you with the view from my window of Lake Ontario!!

Oh, and this morning's flight was absolutely breathtaking. I love sunbeams coming through the clouds. These are taken just outside of Phoenix - the monsoon season has made this place positively heavenly! :)
